Dispersion Separator  Model DSF

The separator provides an efficient solution to a wide range of customer needs



Principle

  • Disperses the particles by the vortex flow in the upper dispersion zone.
  • Evenly supplies the particles from the ring shaped slit into the classification zone.
  • The secondary air, provided from the guide vane, forms a high speed vortex flow.
  • The vortex flow enables separation of the coarse and fine particles with high precision.

Features

  • High classification accuracy (D75/D25=1.1 to 1.5) is maintained by suppressing localized vortex flows in the separate zone.
  • Classification point can be set as required (2 to 300μm) .
  • No moving parts, making anti-abrasion and anti-adhesion measures easy, and highly effective on very sticky raw materials.
  • Simple structure for easy maintenance checkup and parts replacement.

Optional Specifications

1. Antifriction specification

High hardness or elastic resin-based surface treatment is available for the part in contact with the powder.

Complete ceramic specification on the powder contacting surface.

2. Adhesion resistant specification  Surface coating with a material of low coefficient of friction on the powder contacting parts can be applied.
